Max grew up in a military family, moving every three to four years before he attended college at Tufts University. After countless hours spent in a microfluidics lab, playing ultimate frisbee, and eating buffalo chicken calzones, he graduated summa cum laude in 2017. Before starting medical school, he worked for a year doing surgical oncology research at Mass General and scoring baseball games for MLB at Fenway Park. He is currently a medical student on a Dean’s Scholarship at the Boston University School of Medicine.
During his time at Tufts, Max tutored the introductory biology courses individually and in small group settings during his junior and senior years. He particularly enjoyed getting to know his students and their ambitions. His tutoring strengths are in biology, chemistry, and MCAT preparation (520).
Outside of medical school, Max is passionate about baseball, particularly the Red Sox, pick-up basketball, hiking, running the Esplanade, and John Mulaney’s comedy.
