Nathaly was born in Bogota, Colombia and moved to California when she was 7 years old. In 2017, she graduated from Yale University as an Education Studies Scholar with a BS in Cognitive Science. At Yale, she focused on combining the cognitive science of child development with education. She became interested in alternative education and volunteered at a self-directed learning center in New Haven. She studied abroad and taught in several countries, including Italy, Israel, and China.
After graduating from Yale, she moved to Mexico City and worked as a college counselor, SAT and ACT tutor, and academic tutor. She has worked with over 100 students, showing them the strategic ins and outs of standardized tests, helping them find good fit programs and universities, and guiding them in drafting essays. She always customizes her curricula to individual students.
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, and going on long walks with her dog.
