Nathan was born and raised in rainy Portland, OR, which is still his favorite city in the world. Nathan attended Davidson College, where he majored in economics and graduated with honors. From there, Nathan went on to work at McKinsey & Company, earning a promotion to the manager level in just over two years. Currently, Nathan is a Feldberg Fellow at Columbia Business School.
Nathan worked as a TA in econometrics while at Davidson, teaching lab sections and helping students individually. He also volunteered to help struggling students in the economics center on campus, and has past experience tutoring at the middle school level. While at McKinsey, Nathan taught himself programming, and has since written several web applications. He recently launched an automated survey service. Given his strong foundation in economics and econometrics, Nathan has enjoyed teaching these subjects to his Cambridge Coaching students. He also specializes in tutoring the GMAT, having scored a 790 himself.
In his spare time, Nathan enjoys golf, basketball, chess, choral singing, and cheering on his beloved Oregon Ducks.
