Nick is originally from outside of Boston, but moved to North Carolina during middle school. He received his BA in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Genetics, Genomics, and Development from Cornell University, graduating Phi Beta Kappa. Driven by an interest in basic science and molecular biology, fostered through undergraduate research and research done at the Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research, he is pursuing a dual MD-PhD in the Harvard-MIT joint program.
Nick has been tutoring since high school, when he tutored peer students in French, calculus, statistics, and biology. He served as a mentor to local elementary students in Ithaca during his four years as an undergraduate at Cornell. He also served as a peer advisor to students in the biology major at Cornell, helping them navigate pre-health advising and coursework. Currently, Nick serves with a local organization Aceing Autism to help local children with ASD learn how to play tennis. At Cambridge Coaching, Nick enjoys helping medical school applicants with premedical coursework, the medical school admissions process, and the MCAT.
Outside of school and his research interests, Nick is a passionate fan of all Boston sports, though he acknowledges he is a spoiled fan. He enjoys reading, running, and playing basketball, and is excited to be back in his home state!
