After growing up in Connecticut, Nikki stayed in the third-smallest state to attend Yale, where she earned a concurrent BS and MS in chemistry. She graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, and with the Werner Bergmann Prize, awarded annually to the outstanding senior in the chemistry department. Currently, she is a medical student in the class of 2023 at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
During her two years of full-time teaching as a high school science teacher through Teach For America, Nikki fell in love with curriculum design, mentoring, and the always-rewarding process of working with motivated students to help them achieve their goals. She has also received acclaim from her classmates as a TA in medical school courses covering many topics including biochemistry and anatomy. Her mentoring experience encompasses both application advising for prospective medical students and helping new students with the transition to medical school. At Cambridge Coaching, Nikki specializes in MCAT and SAT tutoring as well as chemistry, biology, physics, and mathematics.
In her spare time, Nikki loves reading, ballet, cooking, and watching football.
