Rishabh is originally from Princeton, NJ -- home of the Tigers, and more importantly, Hoagie Haven, the most delicious sub shop in the northeast. Growing up, Rishabh always took a special interest in the sciences, leading him to pursue a major in Genetics at Rutgers University. While at Rutgers, he was involved in many different mentoring programs, where he came to find his love for working with people on a personal level. Rishabh soon realized that he wanted to take this one step further and decided to pursue a career in dentistry. He is now a 2nd year dental student at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine.
Rishabh has been involved in tutoring for 6 years, and has worked not only in the US but also abroad as an English teacher in Thailand. From serving as a General Chemistry TA for a class of 2000 students at Rutgers to working with underserved communities in Harlem, Rishabh enjoys being a mentor in myriad ways. He particularly enjoys teaching biology, chemistry, biochemistry, and test preparation for the DAT and SAT. As a tutor, he enjoys sharing his knowledge, but also loves learning from his students.
Aside from school, he enjoys working out, playing basketball, and producing music. When he is not in the library, Rishabh likes to unwind by putting together DJ mixes and constructing beats on Ableton’s music production software.
