Ruby is originally from New Jersey, about 40 minutes from the shore (although she refuses to watch the TV show). She went to Princeton for college (go Tigers!), where she studied Molecular Biology with certificates in Global Health & Health Policy and Urban Studies. She graduated with a 4.0/4.0 GPA (Phi Beta Kappa) and moved to San Francisco to complete a year-long research fellowship at the UCSF Breast Care Center. She is currently pursuing an MD from Harvard Medical School.
Ruby loves getting to know her students’ stories and their personal journeys to medicine. She enjoys working alongside students to create a plan to tackle pre-med years and to craft a memorable narrative to highlight their strengths. In the past, she has been a peer academic advisor in several capacities during college, an orientation leader for incoming med students, and an alumni interviewer for Princeton.
In her free time, Ruby enjoys spin class, running along the Charles River Esplanade, poetry, experimenting with different styles of art, and making spontaneous plans with friends.
