Sam is a former student athlete who fought hard on the field and in the classroom. She attended The College of New Jersey as a biology major in the honors college and also played varsity softball. In addition to studying and softball, Sam worked in a lab studying crustacean physiology. In 2018, she was named 1st Team Academic All-American and graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. Currently, Sam is a medical student at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she has been involved on the application screening committee and is currently on the leadership board of 1G Sinai for first generation college students in medicine. She is interested in a career in diagnostic radiology.
She has experience as a peer advisor during both undergrad and in medical school. With Cambridge Coaching, Sam’s strengths include tutoring for Step1 and the MCAT as well as advising for the medical school application process.
Outside of school and tutoring, Sam enjoys running in Central Park and walking her dog as well as exploring NYC with her friends from medical school.
