Sara is originally from San Diego, where she grew up loving the beach and the sun. Nonetheless, she decided (perhaps foolishly) to give it all up to move to Boston and attend MIT, where she graduated with a degree in Math with Computer Science and minors in economics and business. After graduation, she moved to Seattle to work as a program manager at Microsoft, but has since returned to pursue an MBA at Harvard Business School.
Sara has always loved teaching, and throughout her undergraduate experience sought out teaching opportunities. Through the MISTI program at MIT, she travelled to Israel to lead workshops for high school students on design thinking; as president of a women’s finance club, she led seminars teaching a variety of finance topics to other undergraduate women. She also worked with underprivileged Boston students, mentoring, coaching crew, and helping with college applications and standardized test prep. At Cambridge Coaching, she specializes in helping students of all ages in mathematics and business topics, as well as standardized test preparation including the GMAT, SAT, SSAT, and ISEE.
In her free time, Sara loves cooking, reading, scuba diving and trying to catch as much sunshine as she can in the Northeast!
