In sixth grade, Sara finally finished her first novel, The Clamorous Medium. Since then, she has thankfully learned to write without a thesaurus. Sara graduated summa cum laude from the University of Southern California, where she studied English Literature and Political Science as a Trustee Scholar, earning Phi Beta Kappa designation as a junior. After college, Sara joined the prosocial creative agency Wondros, where she worked with leaders in technology, public policy, philanthropy, and the arts on compelling storytelling campaigns. She is now a JD candidate at Yale Law School, where she is Articles Editor for the Yale Journal of Law & Technology and serves as a speechwriter to the Dean, among other activities.
Sara has tutored young students in reading and creative writing at 826 LA in Echo Park. She enjoys working with students of all ages who know exactly what they want to say but don’t know how to say it. She also likes working students who think they have nothing to say, but are wrong! With Cambridge Coaching, she focuses on English and writing tutoring, as well as admissions coaching.
In her free time—definitely not in class—she writes nonsense verse about the law which she publishes on the Instagram account @poetlawyereate.
