Simone was born and raised in California, but after moving to Connecticut for college, she considers herself a bona fide East Coaster. She attended Yale University and graduated with distinction with a BA and an MA, both in Political Science. Simone also completed an MA of Philosophy in Criminology at the University of Cambridge as a Gates Cambridge Scholar. Simone is currently at Yale Law School where she received support as a Yale Law School Arthur Liman Summer Fellow for her research on public interest legal issues, and as a Director’s Fellow at the Institution for Social and Policy Studies.
Simone has worked as an editor at various journalistic publications and in educational settings. She has advised writers and students on all kinds of writing: reporting, admissions personal essays, academic essays, empirical studies, long-form magazine essays, and short application response questions. She enjoys helping students on these writing projects––and many others––through Cambridge Coaching.
Outside of school, you can find Simone hiking, pursuing vintage stores, or reading the latest nonfiction book about something truly random.
