Tara graduated from Harvard College with an AB in Chemical and Physical Biology (this major could also be called “Science”). As an undergraduate, she wrote a thesis describing a novel method of discovering small molecule drugs that target disease-associated proteins, which resulted in two publications. Her most memorable summer was spent in rural western Kenya working on a phone application used by community health workers. She is currently a joint MD/MBA candidate at Harvard Medical School and Harvard Business School, interested in improving health care access and delivery using technology.
Tara has significant experience in standardized test tutoring and admissions coaching, and thinks she can make these requirements seem fun. She received a perfect score of 2400 on her SAT, and is happy to tutor students in MCAT, GMAT, or USMLE Step 1 prep. She can guide students through the lengthy college, medical school and business school admissions processes.
Beyond school, Tara enjoys playing many sports and her favorite three are tennis, ping pong, and soccer.
