Hailing from Chicago, Tova attended the University of Chicago and graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a BA in anthropology. She recently completed her MPhil (with Merit) at the University of Cambridge where she studied Archaeology, with work spanning from theoretical anthropology to archaeobotany. Currently, she excavates during the day and thinks about excavating at night.
Tova tutors students in social sciences (including anthropology, geography, history), earth sciences, standardized test preparation (ACT, SAT, GRE) and Hebrew. She also specializes as a tutor for students with special needs, as well as adults preparing for their GED.
Tova lives in Brighton Beach, where she enjoys long walks on the boardwalk and improving her Cyrillic. In her spare time, Tova boulders (poorly), makes pottery, and collects and catalogs the tiny bugs that eat her houseplants.
