Tushar originally hails from the great suburbs of Northern Virginia. After a brief stint at a small technical college known as MIT, he graduated with both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in four years. He is currently an M.D./Ph.D. candidate in the Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology (HST) program at Harvard Medical School.
Tushar enjoys tutoring and mentoring others, having first been exposed to teaching others in his honors program in high school. In his senior year at MIT, he was a teaching assistant for two advanced-level courses in MIT’s Biological Engineering department. His main tutoring strengths include mathematics (and especially statistics), computer programming (in R, Python, MATLAB, and C++ on a good day), and biology.
Apart from his studies, Tushar enjoys writing short biographies of himself and taking long walks in apple orchards. On most days, however, you’ll probably find him watching Netflix crime mockumentaries in his free time.
