Tyler graduated from Boston College in with a bachelor's degree in psychology. He soon began working in a supportive psychotherapeutic role with children, families, and adolescents at a community mental health center based in the Boston area. He also worked in neuropsychological research examining risk factors for disorders with psychotic features. After deciding to pursue medical school, Tyler completed the Bryn Mawr College Postbaccalaureate Premedical Program. While in the middle of the medical school application process, he worked as a clinical researcher in the Orthopaedics Department at Boston Children’s Hospital with a focus on the pediatric upper extremity. He is currently an MD candidate at Boston University, where he was awarded a Dean’s Scholarship.
Tyler sees helping others problem solve as a rewarding opportunity to learn and grow. He especially loves helping his students to tackle the MCAT.
In Tyler’s free time, he loves to cook, ski, work out, and read.
