Zoe was born in New York City and grew up in Westport, CT. She attended Columbia University, where she graduated cum laude from Columbia College in 2012 with a BA in Biophysics and a concentration in Philosophy. Zoe then went on to earn an MD/MBA dual degree from Columbia University’s College of Physicians & Surgeons and Columbia Business School. In medical school she led Columbia Student Medical Outreach, a free clinic for the uninsured in Washington Heights. Zoe is now a Resident Physician in Family Medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle.
Zoe has been teaching since 9th grade, when she started as a drama coach at her local summer camp. At Columbia, Zoe was an SAT tutor for Let’s Get Ready!, where she learned how to make math fun and not scary. She also served as a Teaching Assistant for Developmental Biology at Columbia, tutoring her peers. She has been a member of Cambridge Coaching since 2012, and has tutored middle school, high school and college students in math, chemistry, and physics, as well as the SAT, SAT IIs, and the new MCAT.
In her free time, Zoe loves music, theater, and comedy, and also enjoys doing yoga and getting outside.
