After spending three years there, he transferred to the University of Missouri, where he earned his BS in Biology. Ubadah then earned his PhD in Translational Biology, Medicine, and Health at Virginia Tech.

Humza graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University with a double major in Medicinal Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences. He is now an MD/PhD candidate at UCLA.
