Zoë
Zoë majored in Neuroscience with a double minor in Spanish and Global Health at UCLA. She graduated summa cum laude and earned highest departmental honors in neuroscience. She is now an incoming MD/PhD student in the Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) at UCSF.
Sophia Z.
Sophia attended Yale University, where she was a Global Health Scholar and studied Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry, and History of Science, Medicine, and Public Health. Sophia is currently a student at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
Hayder
Hayder holds a BA in History from the University of Houston and an MD from the University of Chicago. He is now an Emergency Medicine Resident at the cross-town rivals, Northwestern Medicine.
Arielle S.
Arielle majored in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology at Yale. She received the Class of 1971 Summer Science Research Fellowship, Dean’s Research Fellowship in the Sciences (twice), and Mellon Senior Research Grant for her research in the transfusion biology and immunology. She is now an MD candidate at the Washington University School of Medicine in Saint Louis.
Ryan E.
Ryan completed her undergraduate studies at Cornell University in Cellular and Molecular Biology. She is currently pursuing her PhD thesis research at MIT, where her work is focused on understanding how proliferating cancer cells reprogram metabolism to maintain the metabolic requirements for rapid cell growth and division.
Angela R.
Angela attended Duke University, double majoring in Global Health and Biology with a Chemistry minor; she graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. She is pursuing her interests in health in the MD program at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
Miriam S.
Miriam is an MD Candidate at Harvard Medical School. Prior to medical school, Miriam majored in majored in Sociology and minored in Chemistry at Duke University, graduating summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa.
