Philip graduated summa cum laude from the University of Portland with a degree in English. He next earned a PhD in English at Northwestern University.
Sarah H.
Sarah pursued her interest in the western European canon by studying the Great Books program at St. John’s College in Maryland. She then went on to receive her Master’s in Comparative Literature at Columbia, where she focused on the nineteenth-century European novel.
Jamie M.
Jamie is a PhD Candidate in the History of Science at Harvard University. She also holds an MA in Social Sciences from the University of Chicago and a BA in Communications from the University of Portland.
Roland
Roland is an award-winning author and illustrator. His biography of Arthur Ransome won a Jerwood Award from the Royal Society of Literature and the HW Fischer Prize from the Biographer’s Club. His illustrations for Lev Grossman’s best-selling Magicians trilogy were published in the New Yorker. Roland is currently writing and illustrating a series of novels for children.
Rebecca
Rebecca graduated from Brown University with a BS in Mathematical Science. She is currently a PhD candidate in Applied Physics at Harvard University's School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
