Roland
Roland is an award-winning author and illustrator. His biography of Arthur Ransome won a Jerwood Award from the Royal Society of Literature and the HW Fischer Prize from the Biographer’s Club. His illustrations for Lev Grossman’s best-selling Magicians trilogy were published in the New Yorker. Roland is currently writing and illustrating a series of novels for children.

Emily graduated from Yale, where she majored in English and was a varsity athlete. She then worked for a technology startup and a human rights nonprofit before pursuing her MD at Columbia University.

Sonya is an MD candidate at Columbia. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a BS in Neuroscience and a BA in History and Philosophy of Science, with minors in Spanish and Chemistry (summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa).
