Anna W.
After graduating Johns Hopkins University in 2014, Anna earned two master’s degrees in Social Anthropology from the University of Edinburgh and in Refugee and Forced Migration Studies from Oxford as a Marshall Scholar. She next earned her JD from Yale in 2021, and is now pursuing a PhD in Anthropology at Johns Hopkins.
Roland
Roland is an award-winning author and illustrator. His biography of Arthur Ransome won a Jerwood Award from the Royal Society of Literature and the HW Fischer Prize from the Biographer’s Club. His illustrations for Lev Grossman’s best-selling Magicians trilogy were published in the New Yorker. Roland is currently writing and illustrating a series of novels for children.
Eric
Eric graduated from Oberlin College and Conservatory with a BA in Hispanic Studies and BM in Composition. He then received an MA in Teaching at Boston University, where he was awarded the Future Language Educator Scholarship.
Claire
Claire holds a BA in English Literature (Brown) and an MFA in Painting (New York Academy of Art). Since 2016, she has been teaching high school English Literature at BASIS Independent in Brooklyn.
Rana
Rana earned her BS in Biology and Molecular Biology at Brown, and then spent two years working in ovarian cancer research at Mass General Hospital. Currently, she is an MD student at Harvard Medical School.
