Ubadah
Ubadah is a neuroscientist at MIT. He immigrated to the US and started community college when he was 16 years old. After spending three years there, he transferred to the University of Missouri, where he earned his BS in Biology. Ubadah then earned his PhD in Translational Biology, Medicine, and Health at Virginia Tech.
Anna W.
After graduating Johns Hopkins University in 2014, Anna earned two master’s degrees in Social Anthropology from the University of Edinburgh and in Refugee and Forced Migration Studies from Oxford as a Marshall Scholar. She next earned her JD from Yale in 2021, and is now pursuing a PhD in Anthropology at Johns Hopkins.
Roland
Roland is an award-winning author and illustrator. His biography of Arthur Ransome won a Jerwood Award from the Royal Society of Literature and the HW Fischer Prize from the Biographer’s Club. His illustrations for Lev Grossman’s best-selling Magicians trilogy were published in the New Yorker. Roland is currently writing and illustrating a series of novels for children.
Anna
Anna holds a PhD in Slavic Languages and Literature (Harvard), an MA in Slavic Languages and Literature (MA), a BA in History and Philology (Russian State University) and a BA in Fine Arts (Pushkin State Museum Art College).
