She won several awards for her academic achievements, including the Jean V. Crawford Prize in Chemistry, Introductory Chemistry Award, and the Elizabeth Vogel Falk Prize in German. She was further recognized for her achievements excelling in the pre-medical/pre-dental curriculum and was the recipient of the Judith Adams ’75 Prize for Premedical Students during her senior year. Inspired by her majors sitting at the intersection of the sciences and humanities, she was excited to explore an interdisciplinary career and turned to dentistry as the perfect blend of the sciences and arts. Amy is currently a dental student at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine (HSDM).

Amy has been involved with teaching and tutoring in many capacities. She designed curriculum and taught classes in English Writing, SAT English, and entry-level Mandarin Chinese. She was also a German and Chemistry tutor during her time in undergrad. Amy is experienced in tutoring students from a wide range of different age groups, which has helped her develop a unique skill set to tailor her teaching to different learning levels and needs. Furthermore, Amy has always been passionate about mentorship and admissions. At Wellesley, she worked for the Office of Admissions as a tour guide and campus ambassador and served as Vice President of the Pre-Dental Society. Currently at HSDM, Amy helps lead the pre-dental committee for the school’s American Student Dental Association (ASDA) Chapter, introducing dentistry and the student experience to prospective applicants from underserved populations and providing admissions support to them through a mock interview program.

Outside of school, you can find Amy playing board games with friends and family and going on a jog in local parks. She is also an avid traveler and finds joy in visiting famous tourist destinations and indulging in the local cuisine.
