Angela is the seventh of nine children to two physician parents. She loved putting structure around the chaos as a child, which translated into a love for supporting students, families, and systems as a professional. She graduated from Georgetown University with a BSBA in finance and economics in 2015 and is currently pursuing an MD at NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine with plans to practice pediatrics.
Between undergrad and med school, Angela worked in consulting and taught PreK-12 full-time. She has a current teaching license in middle school science. She deeply enjoyed her three years of teaching science, math, and reading at an elementary-middle school before and during the pandemic. After that, Angela spent two years as the first and only teacher at Children’s National Hospital supporting long-term patients 1-on-1 or in small groups for all grade levels and subject areas. She has also worked with college students when requested and has tutored college students in biology and chemistry.
Angela spends her free time exercising, or reading on her own or to pediatric patients.
