Arpad is originally from Munich, Germany, home of the Oktoberfest and the current reigning Champions-league soccer team Bayern München. From a young age, Arpad has been passionate about the stock market and investing. Today, he continues to be fascinated by economics and the powerful tools it offers to understand what is happening in our world.
During his undergraduate degree in Economics at Ludwig-Maximilians-University, Arpad pursued an internship in private equity which later led him to work full-time as an analyst in investment banking. After having spent a few years working as a professional, Arpad decided to pursue an MBA at Columbia Business School (CBS), where he graduated with Dean’s Honors with Distinction among the top 5% of his class. During his time at CBS, Arpad reinforced his understanding of business and investing, and tutored MBA classes as a teaching assistant. Arpad’s core expertise lies in Corporate Finance and Capital Markets, Accounting, Micro- and Macroeconomics.
Outside of his studies, Arpad enjoys Martial Arts, traveling, soccer, and spending time with friends.
