Beneel (Ben) Babaei is a 3L (third year) law student at Columbia Law School (CLS), pursuing his Juris Doctorate. He attends CLS as a Butler Fellow (half-tuition merit scholarship) and a two-time Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar for "superior academic achievement." He scored in the upper 99th percentile on the LSAT. He serves as a judicial extern at the Southern District of New York (SDNY).

Ben loves to tutor. He has been a professional tutor for almost ten years and there is nothing he enjoys doing more than helping others achieve their goals, especially when they might seem just barely out of reach. After having gone through the law school admissions process very recently and having gained admission to nearly 30 law schools with many substantial scholarships, Ben is well versed in every step of the application process. From the actual LSAT to drafting personal and diversity statements to deciding whether to apply or retake to negotiating scholarships to letters of continued interest and waitlists to finally deciding on a school once all the acceptances do roll in, Ben is your guy. He is also well-qualified to tutor substantive legal subjects including Torts and Constitutional Law. He would love to work with you to help you get where you want to go!
