Darin loves being a scientist and professor. After double majoring in Physics and Astronomy & Astrophysics at Harvard (magna cum laude), he went to Caltech to get a Ph.D. in planetary science. He's loved studying orbits and planets ever since! After a couple of postdocs, he is now junior faculty in Physics & Astronomy at Brigham Young University. He has been co-author on dozens of publications, but loves especially the several papers where his undergraduate mentees were able to lead a publication.
Darin has decades of tutoring experience and has taught a wide variety of subjects in a wide variety of circumstances. He's been an online tutor/instructor for the biggest math and physics competition websites with demonstrated success in getting his students to the next level. He's also happy to use his extensive experience to support students in classes or test prep.
Darin loves the flexibility of being a professor so that he can spend time with his growing family.
