Elle is a proud New Jersey native who is a recent graduate of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. She pursued a Writing Seminars and History double major and a French minor, graduating with honors for her history thesis, as a departmental prize winner for her creative writing, and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Her research centers on the intersections of media and history, and includes projects on museums, film, and social media. Currently, she is a student at the London School of Economics pursuing her MSc in Global Media and Communications.
Passionate about all things personal statements, Elle has spent the last five years specializing in medical school personal statements following her time as a tutor at Johns Hopkins. She has helped hundreds of aspiring medical students better communicate their stories, but also has extensive experience working with law school, business school, and PhD applicants to craft personal statements that speak to their unique identities. In addition, Elle has worked with high school students on college applications and has worked as a teacher and tutor in English, history, and French.
Outside of the classroom, Elle (unsurprisingly) loves to read, enjoys cooking, and is an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. In her spare time, you can find her exploring her new city of London.
