Originally hailing from Northern New Jersey, Evan previously graduated high school from the Academy for Medical Sciences and Technology at the Bergen County Academies. He then went on to study biology at Washington University in St. Louis, where he graduated cum laude. Evan then moved to New York City, where he followed his dream of enrolling at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He is currently in the thick of medical school with plans to pursue a residency in Urology.
Evan has extensive experience tutoring students in pre-medical classes. In college, he worked as a teaching assistant for the undergraduate general chemistry and biology courses at Wash U, and currently works as a teaching assistant in his medical school. In addition, Evan has advised many students in navigating the medical school application process, and has even worked on the admissions committee for his MD program.
In his spare time, Evan loves all things basketball (both playing and watching his favorite team, the Brooklyn Nets), traveling (his favorite recent trips have been to Uganda and Colombia), and spending time with his friends and family.
