Jedd grew up in the college town of Ann Arbor, MI, making theater with his grade school classmates and swimming in the great lakes. He earned his BA in philosophy and education at Swarthmore College, where he was a Lang Scholar for civic engagement. He then went on to his Masters of Education at Harvard, with a focus on learning across educational organizations. He has worked as an education policy researcher in DC, community organizer in Somerville, classroom teacher, and curriculum designer at Emerson College. He was most recently engaged in research and evaluation of a global blended learning initiative.

Jedd is a seasoned educator with over a decade of teaching and tutoring experience. He has helped students from ages 9 through 49 with diverse learning needs prepare for the ISEE, SSAT, SAT, and GRE, and provided admissions coaching for college and graduate school applicants. He also supported a number of adult students learning English as a second language.

When he isn’t working, he is often biking around the city, cooking at home, and camping around the New England countryside.
