Keerthi was born and raised just outside of Philadelphia. He completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in public health at Johns Hopkins University. During his time at Johns Hopkins, Keerthi wrote clinical policies for an insurance company and managed process improvement projects in an emergency department. He is now completing an MD degree at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine.
Keerthi has always enjoyed teaching and guiding students. He was a teaching assistant and tutor in both high school and college. As an undergraduate student, he was invited back to his high school regularly to offer insight into college admissions and adjustment processes. At Cambridge Coaching, Keerthi is a highly effective and experienced MCAT tutor, and can tailor his approach based off of his students’ strengths and weaknesses. Knowing that the MCAT is only one piece of the medical school application, Keerthi also loves to round out an application after his student’s test date by helping them organize their AMCAS, bucketing their school list, and preparing them for their interviews.
Outside of school, Keerthi enjoys exploring New York City, seeing comedy shows, and playing tennis. He also bravely wears Philadelphia Eagles merchandise in New York Giants territory.
