Lucy is currently an MBA student at the Wharton School, where she is a Forte Fellow—one of four students chosen for a merit scholarship in her incoming class. She scored a 770 on the GMAT and is on the path to achieve honors in her first year. At Wharton, she is on the Board of the Private Equity Club, Investment Management Club and involved in the Technology Club. Prior to Wharton, Lucy worked in investment banking, technology-focused private equity and in the technology industry. She did her undergrad at NYU majoring in finance and accounting, graduating cum laude with a 3.9/4.0 GPA. Outside of her professional career, she was on the founding executive team of Women In Network, a non-profit organization aimed at mentoring undergraduate female students in finance and STEM industries.
Lucy has been tutoring for over 9 years and has worked with students ranging from elementary school to college and beyond. She specializes in test preparation, including SAT, AP test and the GMAT. With her background in finance, accounting, business and psychology, she is able to connect classroom topics to real-world applications to make sure you can apply the topics on the job. Additionally, she has served on the admissions counsel of both college and MBA admissions, and has administered numerous investment banking and private equity interviews.
Outside of work, Lucy enjoys competitive board games, watching strategic reality shows and hip hop dance. She loves learning about cool travel destinations, so definitely share your stories!
