Manasa, originally from Johns Creek, Georgia, attended the University of Georgia, where she majored in biochemistry and molecular biology and minored in Spanish. Going to the big Georgia state school also made her an avid football fan (GO DAWGS), a loyalty that has only strengthened since she graduated summa cum laude from the university. During her undergraduate years, she has conducted research in various labs, ranging from basic science to translational to clinical, in different cities across the country. She is currently pursuing an MD at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
Manasa has been tutoring for many years and has worked with a diverse group of students. From a young age, she has loved teaching and helping others, and it always resulted in her learning more as well! During college, she worked for Kaplan and tutored high school students in the SAT and ACT and taught an MCAT class for college students. She also worked extensively with prison inmates to help them obtain their GED diploma. At Cambridge Coaching, Manasa’s strengths are mathematics, biology, chemistry, the SAT, the ACT, and the MCAT. She particularly enjoys tailoring sessions according to her students’ individual strengths and weaknesses.
In her free time, Manasa loves dancing (you can always find her at a local Zumba class), spending time with friends and family, reading, (trying to) sing, binge-watching TV shows and movies, and meeting new people!
