Priyanka grew up in Plymouth, Minnesota and spent a majority of her time in high school honing her classical Indian dance and debate skills (though never at the same time). She competed extensively and achieved success on a national level. After graduating from high school, she moved to Massachusetts and studied Molecular and Cellular Biology, Global Health, and Spanish at Harvard College, graduating summa cum laude. Priyanka is now a medical student at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York.
While in college, Priyanka spent her time working as a staff member at Y2Y (Harvard’s youth homeless shelter), interning at the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, and furthering South Asian arts on campus through both dance and other mediums of expression. Priyanka has extensive teaching and tutoring experience, too -- she tutored for Harvard Student Agencies for years. She also has a wealth of private experience tutoring the SAT and ACT 1:1. Finally, Priyanka sharpened her college level teaching skills by TAing Molecular and Cellular Biology at Harvard. If you’re looking for a debate or public speaking tutor, look no further; Priyanka has coached high school students in public speaking and debate at the national level. She prioritizes getting to know her tutees and ensures that she caters learning plans to meet students’ individual needs and goals.
Priyanka considers herself a foodie and spends her free time exploring new restaurants in New York, cooking, dancing, and spending time with her friends.
