Saiesh K.


Saiesh is originally from Houston, Texas, where he’s an avid supporter of James Harden and the Houston Rockets. Having a deep passion for the intersection of clinical medicine and healthcare, Saiesh graduated cum laude from Rice University in Biochemistry and Cell Biology and a minor in Business and earned the Health Professions Leadership Award from Rice. Saiesh is now an MD candidate at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a four-year full-tuition scholarship as a Twenty-First Century Scholar.

Saiesh started tutoring as early as high school, where he assisted younger students in math competitions in which he previously engaged. Over time, Saiesh worked at a local company in his hometown, transitioned to private tutoring, and continued even further with a Houston-based company that focused on helping students gain admittance to competitive college programs. Saiesh has a strong understanding of the college and medical school admissions processes, as well as their respective entrance exams, the SAT and MCAT. Having scored in the 100th percentile, Saiesh is well-versed on the intricacies of the MCAT.

Outside of tutoring, Saiesh loves dancing, sports, and his home state of Texas.
